Spa filter suppliers Filters4Spas didn’t exactly have expansion in mind as they were setting out a business plan for their first year of trading. However, after just 4 of operations, they’ve already supplied over 25,000 spa filters, with over 40 customers throughout UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany,Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
“We have a few more European countries to go but [we are going] one small step at a time. With Lyons and the Middle East Pool & Spa shows coming up, we have plenty of time, and moving again is definitely not on my ‘must do’ list for 2011” says marketing director Phil Moseley. “ Its been 7 days a week, 12 hours a day since our launch at Spatex and moving to larger premises in the middle of a busy season can hardly be described as fun.”
Gil Gingell, commercial director adds “a distributor can only be as good as its supplier and our eastern supply partners have been an absolute breath of fresh air.”

“The key now will be supply, we have 480 different pool and spa filter versions available to us with 55 now available in the UK instantly, but we intend to build up stocks in excess of 10,000 units by the end of autumn. We can supply containers, pallets, cartons or even a single unit posted direct to your customer, which is becoming a very popular service especially for marketplace retailers such as Amazon, Ebay and Froogle,” says Phil Moseley.
